Strengthening Supervision

Strengthening supervision aims to improve clean and KKN-free governance in each ministry/institution/local government. The implementation of activities refers to the Minister of Agriculture Regulation 7 of 2022 concerning Conflict of Interest Handling, Gratification Control, and Community Management within the Ministry of Agriculture.

Strengthening supervision activities include: 1) Gratification control 2) Implementation of government internal control system (SPIP) 3) Public complaints 4) Whistle-blowing system 5) Handling conflicts of interest

  1. Control of gratification

Gratification control is carried out to assess the success of the integrity zone development process and realise a clean government apparatus within the Ministry of Agriculture. Civil servants or state administrators who receive gratuities are required to report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)

2. Implementation of SPIP

Empowering and strengthening the internal control implementation unit (Satlak PI) within the Ministry of Agriculture is one of the priority activities in supporting the bureaucratic reform of the Ministry of Agriculture. This activity is very strategic with a national scope, so it is expected to have great leverage to improve the performance of the Ministry of Agriculture in particular and improve government management in general.

3. Public Complaint Management

Strengthening supervision is carried out by involving the community because the Center for Standardization of Plantation Instruments is a government institution that performs public services. Complaints are managed so that the handling and monitoring of community complaints can be resolved effectively, efficiently, and accountably.

4. Whisle-blowing System

Implementation of the Whistle Blowing System at the Ministry of Agriculture by implementing, evaluating, and following up on the results of the Whistle Blowing System evaluation.

5. Conflict of Interest Handling

Handling conflicts of interest is carried out by determining actions if ASN (State Civil Apparatus) is in a conflict of interest situation. To facilitate the management of conflicts of interest, socialisation and evaluation of the sources of conflicts of interest, such as abuse of power, authority, and position, personal interests, gratuities, bribery and corruption, collusion and nepotism, and weaknesses in the internal control system, are carried out.
