Polbangtan Bogor is guided by its objectives, duties, and functions. The purpose of establishing Polbangtan Bogor is to prepare and meet the needs of experts in the field of agricultural extension who have agribusiness insight, technical and managerial mastery, and the ability to independently manage and develop agribusiness systems and businesses productively, effectively, and efficiently to support agricultural development.

Task:

Polbangtan Bogor organises professional education in agricultural extension and animal husbandry extension, as well as education and functional training of agricultural life science clusters for Polbangtan Bogor alumni.

Function:

Polbangtan Bogor carries out the following functions in performing its duties:

1. Implementation and development of professional education for agricultural extension and agricultural extension.
2. Implementation of applied research on agricultural extension and animal husbandry extension.
3. Implementation of community service.
4. Implementation of academic community development and relations with their environment.
